Our custom made wrought Iron mailbox posts are made to fit any mailbox. The posts are 65" long and are built in two sections for shipping, the base is mounted 24" in the ground leaving approx. 40" from the ground to the mounting plate. The posts are four sided solid wrought and cast iron and weigh between 40lbs. & 80lbs depending on style. Vine Post: frame is made with 1/2" square frame, the vines are 1/2", 3/8" & 1/4" round stock all formed by hand with pressed steel leaves. The installed height is 65" with a 19" top mounting platform. The shipping weight is 41 lbs.
Orleans Post: Frame is 7 1/2" on four sides with 19" top mounting platform. It has solid cast iron inserts and cast iron support brackets. Shipping weight is 61lbs.
Victorian Post: Frame 6 1/2" square on four sides. 19" top mounting platform and solid cast iron inserts with steel support brackets. Shipping weight 64 lbs.
Gothic Post: Frame 6 1/2" square on four sides. 19" top mounting platform , cast iron finials and picket inserts. Shipping weight 46 lbs.
